BlankenshipMeier got its start in 1950 when Harold Meier and Chick Blankenship decided to leave their current jobs and start a new company as partners.

The partnership didn't last long and within 2 years they 2 parted ways and started their own respective companies.

Both companies remained competitors into the second generation until they again partnered up in 2000.

In 2005, BlankenshipMeier invited Brent Hanson painting to join the firm and in early 2007, Tony Sanders Painting came on board.
